So, riding isn't for you. Not to worry! We have plenty of other opportunities for you to get involved in PurpleRide...
Be a Virtual Rider
You can't ride with us on September 13? You live out of state? No problem! Sign up on our registration site as if you were riding and you will be asked if you want to be a "virtual rider". You will be able to join a team or form a team, and set up your own fundraising page as if you were riding in the event. In fact, one of our over-$1000 fundraisers last year was a virtual rider!
Volunteering
Since this event is run by 100% local volunteers, we need you! If you are interested in volunteering, please email Marilynn, our Volunteer Coordinator Team Lead. Since this event in 100% locally volunteer run, we need approximately 200 volunteers on September 13 to assist with check-in, rest stops, food, parking, and kids activities. It is an incredibly fun and rewarding day; you won't be disappointed that you volunteered with us!
Donating
Once registration opens (May 1), you will be able to click here to be taken to our fundraising site. Once there, you donate to someone you know is riding in the event or make a general donation to PurpleRide Twin Cities.
Raffle Tickets
Raffle sales will begin July 1. Please check back then for purchasing information. We are unable to sell raffle tickets online.
Raffle tickets will be available to purchase the morning of September 13 at PurpleRide.
The raffle drawing will be held at the Closing Ceremonies at 1:30pm on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Elm Creek Regional Park. Need not be present to win.
Come to the Event!
Come cheer on our riders, have some family fun, and come to our Closing Ceremonies. Or better yet, volunteer the day of the event!
